As Summer is flying by and we are approaching the Fall it is time for the Salado Community Chorus to begin rehearsals for our Winter/Christmas concert. If you are a returning member or someone who would like to join us, we welcome you to our Kickoff dinner on August 12, 2025. We will meet at 6:00 pm upstairs in the Civic Center, 601 N. Main. To sign up you should arrive between 5:30-6:00 to pay the $30 registration fee and get your music folder. After a light dinner our director, Dottie Shirley, will play previews of our music. Dottie spends many thoughtful hours choosing a delightful mix of songs for us to learn. We meet every Tuesday from 6:00-7:30 pm to practice so members must be prepared to make that commitment. Our Christmas concert will be held December 9 at the First Baptist Church. The church has graciously hosted our concerts in their beautiful sanctuary for many years. “If you love to sing, we hope you will join us this semester.
